pesen ini gara2 dulu ada temen yg pesen terus gw jadi penasaran deh. ternyata ini enak. empuk2 lembut gitu, terus ada gula2nya.. itu yang di cangkir kecil isinya sejenis saosnya kali ya. ga tau juga itu dari apa, yang jelas ada baileysnya di bagian bawah, jadi jangan lupa diaduk dulu itunya..

pesen ini karena rekomendasi dari waiternya, katanya yang ini enak. sempet agak ragu sebenernya gara2 ada lavendernya, i thought it will be kayak bau obat nyamuk gitu, hahaha. but this turned out good. emang ada wangi2 lavendernya tp ga terlalu mengganggu. manis tp ada asem2nya, lumayan seger juga..

SMOKED TURKEY PASTA (BAKERZIN) ♥

pas pertama ini keluar gw merasa agak aneh sebenernya, soalnya ada kacang2 ijonya itu. itu kacang apa juga gw ga tau, hahaha. sejenis edamame tp kok sepertinya lebih keras.. entahlah yang penting bisa dimakan dan enak :p

jadi pasta ini sepertinya menu khusus christmas or thanksgiving gitu. isinya smoked turkey, pasta, kacang yg ga tau namanya itu, sama rawit! agak kaget juga pas nemu cabe rawit, kirain pedes2nya dari saosnya aja, ternyata dikasih rawit juga. agak creamy tapi ga bikin eneg, smoked turkeynya banyak, saosnya awalnya gw merasa agak aneh tp lama2 boleh juga lah..

BAKPAU DURIAN (BAMBOO DIMSUM) ♥

ini biasa aja.. bakpaunya empuk dan lucu bentuknya, tp pas dibelah dua bau duriannya engga terasa. pas dimakan baru ada rasa duriannya. not bad but not that good. berhubung bamboo dimsum ini all you can eat jadi kalo mau cobain pesen aja, ga rugi hehe..

PUMPKIN PUDDING (BASKIN ROBBINS) ♥

actually i don't know how pumpkin tasted, haha.. but i was curious when i see this ice cream, tried a bit of it, and surprisingly it's good so i bought a cup of pumpkin pudding ice cream. don't ask if it tastes like the real pumpkin or not because as i said before, i don't know how pumpkin tastes, :p

but overall i think this is nice and sweet. just give it a go ;)

NASI GUDEG - FESTIVAL KULINER SERPONG ♥

pada tau festival kuliner serpong yang waktu itu diadain di Summarecon Mall Serpong bukan? nah, pas gw kesitu, gw cobain ini. lupa nama tenantnya apa, pokoknya pas liat krecek langsung pengen, jadilah gw pesen ini. hehe.. sebenernya gw bukan penggemar gudeg, tp demi krecek belinya ini deh hahaha.

rasa gudegnya sih ya biasa aja ya. yang jelas masih kemakan, ga terlalu manis kayak gudeg jogja asli (i went to jogja once and tasted a portion of gudeg and i couldn't finish it because it was way too sweet for my tongue). kreceknya enak, empuk, ga susah digigit.. tapi kurang pedes. well yeah i know itu ada cabe rawitnya, tp pengennya bumbunya yg pedes gitu hehe. sambelnya juga ga terlalu pedes.. overall ini lumayan memuaskan :)

nyuuuum! this is soooo good! i put some dried chilli to it when i eat it, cuma supaya ada pedes2nya aja gitu hehe.. i was going to order spicy prawn carbonara but the waiter said that spicy prawn carbonara wasn't available that time. berhubung mulut udah pengennya yg creamy tp agak pedes jadi pesennya ini terus dikasih cabe2 kering deh. enaaaak! liat fotonya aja bikin pengen makan lagiiiii :D

this one was free loh! menang quiz di twitternya @thegoodsCAFE. :D

so yes, this is the famous coffee rubbed burger. but no bacon in it :( i realized that there's no bacon in it after i ate half of the burger. lol. *laper apa rakus :))

but it's ok. still taste good! just not 100% good without the bacon. the burger itself was big and the meat was soft. nice one lah! ga heran kalo ini terkenal banget.

but i don't really like the fries. it's different with fast food restaurant's fries, of course. french friesnya kurang garing dan cenderung lembek. tapi tetep abis sih :P

so i ordered baileys milkshake again when i hit the goods cafe, hahaha. BUT, this time the milkshake contains no alcohol (the previous one got a bit alcohol). tastes the same, in my opinion.. only this time there were no alcohol effect after you drink it. :D

this one is really goooooood! i'd order this one again for sure. manis tp ada asem2nya juga, seger jadinya. apalagi puddingnya enak juga. itu pudding susu, berasa rasa susunya. nyaam. laen kali kalo pesen minuman laen maunya pake pudding aja hehe

not bad but not recommended. mie-nya enak. kuahnya ga terlalu gimana banget, kurang spicy jadi biasa aja gitu. terus udangnya entah terlalu lama dimasak ato gimana ya, kulitnya sampe nempel sama dagingnya soalnya. daging udangnya juga ga succulent (ga tau bahasa indonya apa hehe).. isi laennya kangkung, telor rebus (cenderung ga ada rasa, kayaknya telor rebus biasa yg ga pake bumbu gitu doang), daging ayam, sama ada togenya sebenernya. tp pesennya ga pake.

waiter yg ngelayanin ga teliti gitu. udah dibilang ga pake toge eh pas dateng masih aja pake toge -_- terus minta ganti deh..

it's my first attempt to bake rainbow cupcakes loh, hehe.. tapi kelamaan di dalem oven (baca: gosong) jadi luarnya coklat tua gitu deh. untung dalemnya bagus.. btw pas bikin ini mixernya rusak -_- jadi kurang ngembang gitu kuenya. hasilnya sih agak padet gitu. lumayan deh masih bisa dimakan dan dalemnya bagus rainbownya :))

i rarely say that something is not recommended. this time i say it. this is not recommended. no asparagus found in the soup. i wonder how they could come up with the name sup asparagus. -_-

ini kayak sejenis sup yang kental, isinya sedikit daging kepiting dan telor kayaknya. rasanya pun ga mantep. kurang asin, gurih, dll. i put some sambal in supaya ada rasanya. blah.

woaaah, this one is spicy! real spicy! me likey like! hahah.. you know it's often happen that some menu have the 'spicy' or 'hot' or 'chilli' on their name but in fact they're not that spicy. this one is real spicy. the sauce was hot and they add a big cabe rawit on the top of it so you can add more spiciness. nyam. oh isinya spaghetti, udang, rebung, and a super little bit of nori. i don't like rebung jadi dipinggirin deh. maybe someday i'll go for this one again if i feel like wanna have spicy pasta :D

salah pesen. harusnya pesen yang daging aja malah pesen yang campur. hehe. jadi banyak yang disingkirin deh soalnya ga doyan. tapi overall ini sih enak banget loh. kalo kesananya ga pake macet mungkin bakal sering dateng deh. haha.. recommended pokoknya kwetiaw sapi gorengnya. yang laennya ga tau rasanya, ga pernah cobain soalnya. pernah sih, tp udah lama gitu jadi agak lupa. tp kalo ga salah kwetiaw siramnya enak juga. :D

when i ordered this i didn't think that this will be this spicy. ternyata pas dateng, dicoba, pedes! nyaaaam, just the way i like it! me like spicy food!! ada cumi, tauge, telor, sayur *entah apa namanya, mungkin bok choi. please forgive me for being this moron -_-* sama udangnya juga. definitely going to order this again if i visit Serbafood. it is located at Benton Junction, by the way. :D

ini isinya ada es krim, pocky, corn flakes, manisan mangga, potongan mangga, some almond chops and strawberry diatasnya. the only thing i don't like here is manisannya. very strong flavour, bikin sakit kepala. O_o but my friend ate them without any problem, maybe it's just me. haha

and what i like the most is they don't use scooped ice cream, they use soft ice cream! all flavour blends well and i like it! i think Mr Curry is one must visit resto :D

the red meat is chicken. well i thought it was pork but then i saw the "no pork, no lard" board so this must be chicken. hahaha. again, this one is kinda sweet (remember this post?). not my favourite. i need to find another type of food when i visit this place again in the future. but despite the sweet taste, the chicken was nice and i like this type of noodle. thick but not chewy like udon.

CHICKEN MUSHROOM SPAGHETTI (MR CURRY) ♥

this comes with a little portion of salad. saladnya isinya daon selada, tomat, sama saos entah apa. not bad :)
so the spaghetti itself.. actually i don't expect the chicken would be smoked chicken. i thought it'd be chicken meat cubes. but smoked chicken is not bad, though. just telling my thoughts, hehe. sama jamur2annya lupa apa aja (sebenernya ga tau juga), kl ga salah ada shiitake, sisanya lupa apa aja. :p
saosnya bisa pilih, red, black, sama satu lagi apa lupa pokoknya creamy curry sauce gitu. i chose the spicy original one. next time i'll order extra spicy!! bukannya yg spicy ga enak tapi kurang pedes aja, hehe.. saos karinya enaaaak! i'll definitely come back one day :9

hmm, ini lumayan lah buat iseng2.. pisangnya kurang manis, kulitnya agak kurang rasa, tapi es, susu, sirop, sama bubur sumsumnya bikin seger. :)

i usually eat this with my friends and we can talk for hours in the shop, hehe.

not really special, just like the usual creamy pasta. i think they chopped the shrimp into small pieces until i can't taste the shrimp. all i know there was a tiny chunks of meat that feels like chicken. maybe that's the shrimp, idk. i put loads of dried chilli to make it spicier. ehehehe. i tried my friend's coffee rub burger and it's really GOOD!! i'm gonna buy the burger next time! ;D

kedengerannya orang2 banyak yg suka banget sama ramen sanpachi ya, gw sampe penasaran. jadi waktu ke Gandaria City nyobain deh. yang terkenal sih emang jigoku ramen, but i wasn't in the mood for very spicy food that time so i picked wantan men. actually it's not that good. it was totally so-so. i tried my friend's jigoku and i think that one is better than mine. so i think i'll just order jigoku when i go to this place again.

well, this is my first durian pancake, hehe. i think this one from han tiam is not bad but not really good either. kulit luarnya lumayan, standar aja sih, ga terlalu tipis ga terlalu tebel. isinya durian banyak. cuma sayangnya duriannya kurang manis, jadinya agak tawar gitu rasanya. lain kali mau coba pancake durian di tempat lain! ^o^

may i say that these are pancakes? because i think so, hahaha. i don't know the difference between hot cake and pancake actually, anyone can help explain? just ordinary pancakes, served with butter and maple syrup. by the way, they're only available at McDonald's every 4 (or 5) AM - 11 AM.

went to the very hip cafe in Jakarta with Inez. we decided to share this menu because there are already two magnums in a plate. waffle de aristocrat contains 2 magnums, waffle, chocolate sauce, biscuit rolls, and caramelized banana. the chocolate sauce was really good! the ice creams, well yeah just like the ones you buy on the supermarket. the banana wasn't really well caramelized tapi karena itu pisangnya jadi ga terlalu lembek. wafflenya kelembekan. i think it's because there were some liquid on the plate (choco sauce and ice cream melts and caramel from the banana).. overall this dessert is nice. worth to try!

mungkin lebih terkenal dengan nama honey bread ya? atau emang pada taunya hanito? in my opinion this is gooood.. bagian dalem rotinya lembuuut, kulitnya crispy-nya pas, ga terlalu keras ga terlalu lembek. the tiramisu cream and cake and the ice cream complete each other. me like! definitely going to buy more (but only if i'm not too full after eating the pasta ^^).

TAKOYAKI PIZZA (PASTA DE WARAKU) ♥

a very small pizza i must say.. but it's not bad at all! the pizza was very thin and cut into 4 pieces. there are takoyakis, mayo, sweet-savoury japanese sauce (i don't know what sauce, i forgot. :p) and a kind of japanese thin dried fish (the one that looks like paper) on the top of it. the takoyaki was so-so, but the octopus in it was good. they're not too chewy (but still chewy) and soft in a good way. this one won't make you full, so you better buy their pasta (since the pastas are really good too so you have to try one hehe)

i'm a fan of ice cream but this one isn't my favourite.. i like the cheesecake-flavoured ice cream but don't really like the strawberries. i don't know what kind of strawberry Baskin Robbins used, but it's the kind of strawberry flavour i don't like (you know, there are some strawberry flavours that i love, like in strawberry milk. but for some others i just don't like how they tasted). what i like the most in this ice cream is the cheesecake chunks! yes they have real cheesecake chunks in it! nyuuuum..


Baskin Robbins - Hypermart Puri Indah

LEMON GRAPE JUICE (MING) ♥

tasted like grape juice actually. hahaha. the lemon flavour wasn't very strong so this feels like just an ordinary grape juice. they blended real grapes so you can taste some grape skins in the juice. i think this drink is quiet nice because it's not too sweet or too sour, just fresh!

EXTRA SPICY AGLIO OLIO WITH BEEF BACON (BASILICO) ♥

ini enaaaak! pedes2 gitu soalnya udah minta extra spicy. *note to self: always ask for extra spicy when ordering an aglio olio*

sebenernya aslinya ini polos, tapi bisa tambahin topping kalo mau. for this one i choose beef bacon. the beef bacon wasn't the usual beef bacon that we find on the supermarket or the one that we eat at hotel breakfast. this one looks like grounded beef but it's not. gah, i'm not culinary student so i don't know what kind of bacon is this. all i know that it's good.

for the overall taste, this has really strong shallot taste. Basilico put a huge amount of fried shallot but that's okay for me because i like fried shallot. :p

MUSHROOM FETTUCINI (NANNY'S PAVILLON) ♥

rasanya standar fettucini.. creamy-creamy hambar gitu. tapi entah emang rasanya kayak gitu apa kokinya lagi ngawur, rasa bawang putihnya terasa banget. i'm not a big fan of garlic, though i don't hate it either. cuma ya agak mengganggu aja karena jadi rasa bawang putih + bau bawang putih juga. tapi jamur gorengnya enak. sampe pesen 1 porsi khusus jamur goreng. :D

one of the best ice creams! *yeah i know gelato is somehow different with ice cream but whatever*

yang rasa coklatnya enaaak! agak pait2 gitu :D jadi di Gelatissimo ada 2 macem rasa coklatnya, yang satu manis2 coklat biasa yang satunya yg pait2 ini. i like this one better than the other one. ga bikin eneg. :)

tiramisunya juga enak, engga terlalu manis tp rasa tiramisu *ya iyalah*! :9

CHICKEN AND EGG SPAGHETTI WITH WAFU SAUCE (PASTA DE WARAKU) ♥

This is good! walaupun cuma spaghetti ditumis sama smoked chicken n telor orak-arik tp enak. mungkin karena wafu saucenya ya.. asin-asin gurih gitu. :) smoked chickennya dipotongnya tebel-tebel and in some way, tasted like smoked pork. seriously. but i can convince you that this is chicken.

this dish is very light in taste, cocok buat yg kurang suka pasta creamy.

oh iya, pas makanannya keluar, actually me and my friend were a bit shocked soalnya keliatannya makanannya sedikit. tp ternyata pas dimakan banyak, mungkin karena piringnya super gede jadi keliatannya makanannya sedikit. hehe.

please don't ask me what mushroom Nanny's Pavillon uses to make this dish. i only know that they're mushroom. hahaha. ga gitu merhatiin jamur apa. buttermilknya kayak mayonnaise gitu. makan ini berasa kayak makan nugget soalnya bentuknya mirip dan rasanya ga jauh beda.. but overall this one is a nice treat. :)

hi all, this is my new blog. a *hopefully* food blog, to be exact. i'm going to post in english and indonesian, depends on my mood. hahaha. i'm such a moody girl, so i think there'll be some posts that have mixed language, kayak gini. :p

i'm going to post anything that related to food here, whether it's a recipe or something i tasted.

so yeah, i hope i'll post about foods often. :D

by the way, i'm sorry about the poor quality pics because i'm gonna take pics with my blackberry camera since the only digital camera in my house is my sister's DSLR which i'm not really familiar with and not going to be too diligent to bring that heavy camera everywhere. cheers!
